以色列國家安全部長、極右翼政治人士本-格維爾當地時間4日在一段視頻中也揚言，“讓以色列在黎巴嫩停火就是做夢”。本-格維爾再次要求以色列總理內塔尼亞胡在停火問題上對美國總統特朗普說“不”，并稱“以色列不想要停火，而是想要一個‘用來解決掉威脅以色列安全的武裝組織’的方案”。
